IT'S TODAY! i'm so excited! i should be getting ready now, but i want to write first. competition is only in a few short hours and i pray that we do as well as we've been doing during our last two practices. winning this, or placing high, will TOTALLY make my day! i think i'm going to stick around for the awards ceremony, but start changing into my sadies outfit while i'm there. i'm going to be late heading to marie's, but i REALLY want to see this! it's going to be so great. i hope the group can come out for dinner with us tonight before the dance. i need to call marie later and ask what's going down. hmm.

well, it's about time for me to pretty up! i'll post pictures of the competition when i get them (and if they look good).

i just knew this method was going to be much more effective weblog-wise... glad i switched!

i emailed mr. dunn, the head of HCC's athletic deptartment, in regards of cheerleading. since they don't consider it a sport and running start students are allowed to participate in clubs and activities, i don't see why that should be a problem. if what vicki says is true and there are less practices, it'd be a lesser burden for me. especially since they only cheer for basketball! it'd be so cool... i'm patiently waiting for his response.

after showing my sadies outfit ideas to some of my friends, they're putting me in charge of coordinating their outfits! what a pain... i already helped mary and lun, and now i have to plan for stephanie. yaaay. how did i, with no 1980's fashion knowledge, get into this? well, i still have to pitch my idea to DJ to see what he can do with himself.

today was beyond awesome! my parents, mayo, and i all went up to the slopes today. the weather was half good half bad. but when it was good, it was GOOD! boarding is so much fun! the snow was perfect today. kinda slushy, great for carving. hehe.

i can't believe the weekend's over already. boo. i didn't have enough time to get rid of my soreness from cheer and tennis yesterday. i'm lucky i'm better at snowboarding now cause if not i would be in severe pain! oy.

6 days until the cheer competition and sadies! the countdown begins! the sadies theme is old school flashback. an 80's theme. i have no idea what to wear, email me if you have suggestions!

BRAND NEW LAYOUT! isn't that amazing? i've decided to use this page as a weblog. hopefully now i'll be updating a lot more often!

well, on to my life... my coach, vicki, is just SO awesome. she's one of those people you just WANT to please. someone you strive to work for and respect. she wants me to help with the upcoming tryouts since i can't do it next year. only the graduating seniors are supposed to help out, but she wants me to too. isn't that neat? and she wants me to be a backup cheerleader for their competitions if someone can't make it. i feel so proud! there was this time when my mum almost made me quit the team and she told me yesterday that she called and emailed mr. rick and mr. dorn (the heads of our school and sports dept.) and begged them to talk to my mum to let me come back. hehe. i had no idea!

ah well, i have other things to do now...
